The City of Sunnyvale has advertised the first project of the new Water Pollution Control Plant Master Plan. It is the Primary Treatment Facility Project - Site Preparation project, which will consist of demolishing the existing sludge drying beds, clearing the site and importing over 100,000 cubic yards of soil in order to prepare the site for the second phase of construction, involving the construction of new primary treatment facilities. It is anticipated that the City will award this contract in spring 2016.
