Pre-Qualified List of Electrical Subcontractors Approved
The City of Sunnyvale issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQL) on November 18, 2021 to perform electrical work on wastewater treatment plant construction projects. The City received six proposals and all subcontractors were identified as “pre-qualified”.

The San Francisco Bay Section of the California Water Environment Association (CWEA) held a lunchtime presentation on December 16, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm covering the Sunnyvale Cleanwater Program.
Caribbean Drive Project Wins Award
The American Public Works Association (APWA) has awarded the Caribbean Drive Project with the 2020 Project of the Year Award for the Sustainable/Green Category. The Sustainability/Green Award is given to a project that demonstrates contributions to promote sustainability in public works with the efficient delivery of infrastructure in an environmentally and socially responsible way.
Construction Package Awarded for CWP Site Prep Project
The City has awarded a contract to Ranger Pipelines for the Secondary Treatment and Dewatering Project Site Preparation (Site Prep) project. The purpose of the Site Prep project is to prepare the Plant for multiple upcoming and concurrent projects.

EPA Announces $220 Million to the City of Sunnyvale
On November 10, 2020, EPA announces nearly $500 million for water infrastructure projects in Northern California, of which $220 million will go to help finance the Sunnyvale Cleanwater Program.

2020 Milestones Featured in Sustainable Sunnyvale
