Pre-Qualified List of Electrical Subcontractors Approved

The City of Sunnyvale issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQL) on November 18, 2021 to perform electrical work on wastewater treatment plant construction projects. Prequalified electrical contractors are eligible to perform as subcontractors on the Sunnyvale Cleanwater Program’s Secondary Treatment and Dewatering Project Main Package and Existing Plant Rehabilitation Project Main Package, which are bidding Spring 2022.

The City held an optional pre-qualification meeting on December 1, 2021 and released an addendum to the RFQL, which includes answers to bidders’ questions, the revised Electrical Subcontractor Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and the presentation slides to the pre-qualification meeting.

The City received six proposals and all subcontractors were identified as “pre-qualified”. The approved list of pre-qualified electrical subcontractors and the bid documents can be found on the City’s procurement opportunities page.
